It was great to visit The Studio, Barn-a-Woon again recently, a contemporary dwelling refurbishment completed a couple of years ago. Nestled in the heart of St Ives, just behind the @tatestives, with sea views on both sides, the original stone wall merges perfectly with the new timber cladding.

So immensely proud of my son Ravi and his teammates at Hayle Hurricanes U13s for winning the Kernow Youth Football League Cup on Sunday! Just look at the joy on their faces!! Both teams battled like warriors, but our boys came out deserved winners. Thanks to Kernow Youth Football League and all their referees and volunteers for putting on a great event, which all the kids will remember for the rest of their lives!

The first 2 of a 3 house new build development, recently completed in Carbis Bay, St Ives. The lightly charred timber cladding was a masterstroke by @benkelly_82, giving the timber even more texture against the white render and black aluminium cladding of the front porches.

During a meeting with a potential new client next door yesterday, it was nice to see this project, which was completed about 5 years ago, still looking good in the #cornish winter sun! We extended at the rear and built a new 1st floor on the original 1960s Bungalow, turning it from a pokey, dated bungalow to a 5 Bedroom family home!

A few images for a project that was granted Planning Permission late last year; replacing a single storey Vet surgery and adjoining dwelling in Carbis Bay, which is moving premises, with these 2 new semi-detached houses. We used the sloping site to add a storey while minimising the height increase from the front. Reverse level accommodation will provide spectacular views over St Ives Bay from the main living spaces and balconies.

As the sun sets on what for many was a pretty terrible year, we can all look forward to 2022 hopefully being much closer to life as we once knew it. 🙏🏽 And we are that much closer to spring and more scenes like this stunning sunset at Porthmeor!

For us, it was actually a record year for business - all while pretty much rebuilding our house - so stress levels were high throughout! But a huge thank you for all of our clients, old and new, for sticking with me!!
